What does Fête mean?
Fête, pronounced /’fet/. As a noun, Fête means an elaborate party (often outdoors) or an organized series of acts and performances. Throughout the Caribbean, Brazil, and many other places around the world, Carnivals and Festivals are often referred to as fêtes. Most commonly known are the Carnivales celebrations in Trinidad and Brazil and La Fête de La Musique in French speaking countries in Europe. As a Verb, Fête means to have a celebration.
