Music in the Ballroom by:

Jeff Pitchell & Texas Flood

Jeff Pitchell has been blistering the paint off the walls of many clubs in New England, Florida, and Europe for some years now and he is one of the hottest guitar slingers on the circuit, drawing comparisons to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. His CD, Heavy Hitter, reached #7 on the national Billboard Charts. Jeff and Texas Flood were voted as the Best Musician/Band in Connecticut in 2011 by readers of Hartford Magazine. J Geils, nominee for the Rock Hall of Fame, has been quoted on the radio as saying "Jeff Pitchell can play his guitar and sing among the best in the country." Jeff and Texas Flood tear up a rich mix of R & B, Soul, funky Texas Blues and Pop.

Jeff won the "Best Guitarist in the State of CT" at age 15 and has won numerous awards for "Best Singer," "Best Band," "Best Songwriter" and was also selected for a movie Roll in the movie Cathedral Pines. Jeff has also appeared on the Don Imus show, and has performed as an invited guest by the Boston Red Sox to perform at a home game on national TV & radio. Jeff has a new CD that is planned to be released in 1Q12 that features Jeff, and J Geils, produced by David Z (Prince, etc) and songs written by Jeff and J Silbar (Academy award winner of "Wind Beneath My Wings:,etc) and Jeff was asked to write some of these songs on this album for James Woods (famous Hollywood actor and Oscar nominee)...for a new movie!

Texas Flood Texas Flood consists of Jimmie Biggins on sax (formerly with James Taylor and The Temptations), Marty Richards on drums (drummer for J Geils Band, Joe Perry's Band, and Peter Wolf's Band), Dave Natale on bass, and Dan Fontanella on the B3 Organ. These seasoned musicians unite to bring a high energy mix of Rhythm and Blues, Rock Soul, Pop and funky Texas Blues.
